Gelonghui, November 21, China Oil & Gas (00603.HK) announced that the company has engaged an international professional firm ("consultant") in August 2024 to conduct a comprehensive, independent assessment of prior year adjustment matters ("the matter") and related control systems and processes. The consultant focuses on five key internal processes, namely (i) revenue recognition for henry hub natural gas pipeline connection and construction service income; (ii) construction project management; (iii) project cost management; (iv) capital and related cost management; and (v) preparation of financial statements to identify any recognized internal control deficiencies.
