Eminence ent (00616.HK) profit warning: expects a mid-term net loss of no less than 0.24 billion Hong Kong dollars.

On November 22, Gelonghui announced that Eminence Ent (00616.HK) reported a net loss of approximately 0.1583 billion Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2023, and expects to record a net loss of no less than 0.24 billion Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2024. The expected increase in net loss is mainly attributed to (including) (i) an increase in losses from changes in the fair value of investment properties; (ii) the net loss from changes in the fair value of financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss; (iii) losses from modifications of convertible bond terms; and (iv) increased financing costs, partially offset by other measures.
