Gelonghui reported on November 15 that wai yuen tong (00897.HK) announced that the board of directors will hold a meeting on November 27, 2024 (Wednesday) to review and approve (including) the interim results for the six months ending September 30, 2024, as well as to consider the distribution of an interim dividend (if any).
Wai yuen tong (00897.HK) expects interim profits to be no less than 20 million Hong Kong dollars.

The increase in profit is mainly due to (i) fair value gains on investment properties owned, and (ii) reversal of impairment losses on property, plant, and equipment projects.
