AEON (Hong Kong) Department Stores Limited (“AEON Stores”) was founded in December 1985 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in February 1994. Its main business is to operate comprehensive shopping department stores (GMS), providing customers with affordable and comprehensive daily necessities. AEON Stores founded its first JUSCO Kangyi store in Taikoo in 1987 (now AEON Kangyi Store), and has since opened branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories. AEON has been actively developing diversified businesses and expanding its market segments. It has successively opened independent supermarkets AEON SUPPLIES, Living Plaza by AEON, a Japanese bento specialty store Bento Express by AEON, indoor playgrounds Molly Fantasy and La Bohéme bakery, introducing a wide variety of goods and services to bring immense convenience to the public. In addition, AEON launched the JUSCOCITY Online Shopping Mall (now AEONCITY) in 2000 to allow customers to enjoy online shopping. Currently, AEON has opened 9 integrated shopping department stores (GMS), 4 independent supermarkets, 28 independent Living Plaza by AEON, 6 Bento Express by AEON and 2 La Bohéme Bakeries in densely populated areas of Hong Kong, as well as 21 GMS, 5 independent supermarkets and 3 shopping malls in Guangdong Province. AEON Stores aims to develop a chain business in Hong Kong, and we strive to provide local customers with value-for-money products.
