Feida Headwear Holdings Limited was established in 1986 and listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2000. It is the only listed hat manufacturer in the world, mainly engaged in the design, production and sale of high-quality casual hats. The Group is headquartered in Hong Kong, China, and has factories in Shenzhen, Panyu and Bangladesh, China. It produces casual hats with patented brands or trademarks. Most of its products are sold in overseas markets. The main market is the United States, followed by Europe. The Group's business covers manufacturing, trade and retail. Through mergers and acquisitions and the establishment of strong alliances, the Group (i) signed a manufacturing agreement with New Era Cap Co., Inc. (“New Era”) to establish a long-term business partnership, ensure stable order sources, and jointly open the first New Era specialty store in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, to lay a good foundation for further cooperation in the retail business in the future; (ii) Establishing Drew Pearson International in the UK (Europe) Limited (“DPI”), as a sales branch in the European market; (iii) indirectly owns 85% of H3 Sportgear LLC (“H3 Sportgear”) through the acquisition to become a distribution and trade branch in the US; (iv) through the acquisition of 100% equity interest in San Diego Hat Company to expand the product range and develop the high-end women's headwear market; (v) the acquisition of the Group's outsourced factory in Bangladesh Unimas Sportswear Limited (“Unimas”) has 80% equity to increase production flexibility at lower costs; and (vi) established a joint venture with Promising Partners Worldwide Limited (“PPW”) in Hong Kong, China - Futureview Investment Limited to acquire the right to develop, manufacture and sell all Sanrio's cartoon character products in China.
