Jinyang New Energy Technology Holdings Limited (“Jinyang”) (formerly Baofeng Fashion International Holdings Limited) is an investment holding company listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (stock code: 1121). In the early days, Quanzhou Baofeng Shoes Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jinyang, focused on manufacturing and selling footwear to original equipment manufacturer customers, as well as designing and producing slippers under its own Baoren and Baofeng brands. The company began working on transformation a few years ago. In addition to completing the acquisition of graphene material technology, the company is also continuously selectively recruiting scientists and R&D personnel. The company has successively applied graphene materials to products such as footwear and air sterilizers, and upgraded the company's position from a traditional manufacturing company to a material technology company. After years of research and development efforts, the Group successfully developed a new technology in September 2020, used monocrystalline ingot silicon wafers to manufacture high-efficiency thin-layer heterojunction (“HJT”) batteries (conversion efficiency > 24.0%), and obtained a calibration certificate issued by the Fujian Institute of Metrology (National Photovoltaic Industry Measurement and Testing Center) for HJT batteries manufactured by the Group in December 2020. The Group also acquired an ingot furnace in January 2021 and officially began manufacturing monocrystalline silicon ingot wafers.
