Tianzhao Pig Industry was founded in 2004. As a modern pig breeding industry group with a unique development model, the company is determined to build a new model of industrial development adapted to China's national conditions with the vision of braving the “pig” peak. The Tianzhao pig industry has successively introduced two breeds of pigs on a large scale from abroad, completed the introduction of the “pig breeding+frozen semin+system” breeding model, and has two complete and independent breeding systems. Among them, in 2008, Tianzhao Pig Industry introduced 866 purebred pigs (including Duroc, Changbai, and Dabai) and their genetic improvement technology from Canada's FAST company. In addition, it also continued to introduce frozen semen from the best good boars in Canada's core group and the results of genetic improvement in pig breeding. Through continuous breeding and improvement, the frequency of excellent genes (types) in the core group is continuously increased, so that the performance of Tianzao breeding pigs remains at the same level as Canada. At the end of 2017, Tianzhao Pig introduced 975 purebred pigs (including Duroc, Changbai, and Dabai) and their genetic improvement technology from the French company AXIOM. Up to now, the company has set up 47 farms in various locations in southwest, northeast and northwest China, covering a wide range of regions, enabling us to provide pigs to customers in different locations in a cost-effective manner. In the future, the company will also introduce more breeds of breeding pigs and genetic resources, and improve its own breeding system to meet customers' demand for genetic diversity in breeding pigs. Tianzhao Pig Industry has always adhered to the code of conduct of “biosafety, pig-based, professional management, and accurate data”. After more than ten years of development, it has achieved fruitful results in genetic selection, cryosperm use, batch production, precise feeding, telemedicine, daily weight gain and cost control, performance management, and talent training.
