Established in 1992, the Group provides IT consulting services to Hong Kong and overseas enterprises, covering industries such as finance, banking, government departments, telecommunications, distribution, retail, manufacturing, logistics and media. Since the establishment of Yangco IT in 1995, our business grew rapidly and began providing IT application and solution development services, and the business was further expanded to include secondment services, maintenance and support services, and IT infrastructure solutions. Until 2009, the Group further expanded into China and developed IT programming solutions development and application implementation business in China. The Group was listed on the GEM of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on March 18, 2015 (stock code: 8140). *According to the Ipsos report, there were about 12,035 service providers in Hong Kong, China in 2013. Most of these providers participated in IT integration solution services, of which about 80% employed fewer than 20 employees. The local IT services and solutions industry is highly competitive and scattered among local and foreign service providers. Competition mainly focuses on brand, reputation, customer relationships and market service coverage. The Group has been involved in the IT solutions and services industry for more than 20 years and has become one of the top five IT solutions and service providers in Hong Kong. In 2013, the five largest service providers accounted for 4.9% of the total revenue of the market. As the fourth largest IT service and solutions provider in Hong Kong, China, we already accounted for 0.4% of that revenue. According to the Ipsos report, it has set a threshold for new participants to enter the IT services and solutions industry in Hong Kong, China, including partnerships with well-known hardware/software manufacturers and a lack of skilled personnel.
