Huaxi Holdings Limited was incorporated in the Cayman Islands in April 2013. The Group's two main subsidiaries, located in Shantou, Guangdong and Shanghai, are engaged in the manufacture and sale of tobacco-related packaging materials and biotechnology research and development, respectively. Shantou Xinda Color Printing Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. Huaxi Group started the cigarette related packaging materials business in 1992 and established its first company - Shantou Xinda Color Printing and Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Shantou Special Economic Zone Cinda Color Printing Co., Ltd.), and obtained the first sales and processing contract with a cigarette manufacturer in Hubei Province in 1993. The business has continued to develop over 20 years. In 2000, the first sales contract was signed with Shanghai Tobacco Group Co., Ltd., and it is still one of the Group's main customers. In 2008, the Group obtained the first sales contract from Guangdong Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd., and the two sides still maintain a good business relationship. According to the Ipsos report, in terms of total sales, we are the fourth largest producer of cigarette related packaging materials market in Guangdong Province in 2012 (including liner paper, frame paper, sealing paper, cigarette outer box and others), accounting for about 7.4% of the market share. In December 2014, Huaxi Holdings Co., Ltd. cooperated with the Institute of Biotechnology and Medicine of the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute to carry out comprehensive research on “medicinal and dietary homologous” functional rice varieties, seedling raising techniques, planting techniques, and development research of related functional products for diabetes. A framework agreement was also signed with the Heihe Municipal People's Government of Heilongjiang Province to cooperate in the construction of the Heilongjiang Functional Food Economic Belt along the Heihe River to build a cultivation and production base for highly resistant starch in the three regions of Sunwu County, Xunke County, and Aihui District of Heihe City.
