The Group's business history dates back to 1989, when James Lau & Associates, the first member of our group, was incorporated by Dr. CW Lau in Hong Kong in October 1989 to provide engineering consulting services. Our founders, Dr. Liu, Mr. Liu and Mr. Liu, have further expanded the Group to expand the scope of our operations over the years. In September 1998, Dr. Lau, Mr Lau, Dr Lau, and Ms Lau Wai-ling Josephine set up Fong On Construction and Fong On Geotechnics to carry out foundation, site preparation and other construction projects. In January 2004, Dr. Liu, Mr. Liu, and Dr. CK Lau established Baocheng Construction, which is mainly engaged in general construction projects. Over the years, we have successfully obtained multiple licenses and qualifications. Fong On Construction is currently registered with the Buildings Department as a registered general building contractor and registered professional contractor, including foundation works, site preparation works, ground survey sites and demolition works. Fong On Construction is also on the list of approved expert contractors for landslide prevention/restoration works in the slope/retaining wall category (trial status). Baosheng Construction is currently registered as a general construction contractor with the Buildings Department. It is also a Group A (probation) contractor on the list of approved public works contractors in the construction category. Thanks to the leadership and contributions of Dr. Lau, Mr Lau, and other members of the management team, the Group has become a group with an outstanding reputation, with a successful track record, focusing on Hong Kong's foundations, site preparation and general construction engineering in Hong Kong.
