Bank of China Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited (the “Company”) is one of the largest listed companies and commercial banking groups in Hong Kong and holds all of the shares in Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK”), the Company's main operating subsidiary. The Bank of China set up an institution in Hong Kong in September 1917, then reorganized the former member banks of the Hong Kong Bank of China Group and registered the company in Hong Kong on September 12, 2001. On July 25, 2002, the Company's shares were listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the stock codes “2388” (Hong Kong dollar counter) and “82388” (RMB counter), and the OTC trading code for American Depositary Securities “BHKLY”. The Bank of China holds approximately 66.06% of the Company's interests through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Bank of China Hong Kong (BVI) Limited. BOCHK adheres to the concept of sustainable and high-quality development, leverages its advantages as a major commercial banking group in Hong Kong, continues to deeply cultivate the Hong Kong market, seize development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, and actively expand its Southeast Asian business.
