SDM is convinced that after careful cultivation, every child can become a “Star Leader” with positive thoughts, contributions to society, and influence, and continue to shine and inspire those around them. We believe that while it is important to pursue personal achievement, cultivating a positive attitude, a positive mindset, and the desire to help and enjoy oneself is also an important element in cultivating a child's life and achieving a brilliant life. Therefore, in addition to providing professional dance training, SDM's mentors and teams also arrange for participants to participate in various contests, performances, charitable activities and cultural exchanges. They expect the participants to build self-confidence, exert a spirit of mutual love, and physically send positive messages to those around them, continue to shine and inspire others around them, and contribute to society. In order to make it easier for children to study nearby, reduce travel time, and learn and grow in a comfortable environment, we have continuously expanded the number of branches in recent years. There are currently 22 branch schools throughout Hong Kong, spread across various regions of Hong Kong and the New Territories. These include the main school located on Cambridge Road in Kowloon Tong, an SDM star teaching building. The SDM Star School Building is also located in the area of a prestigious school in Kowloon Tong. It covers an area of over 10,000 feet and is three stories high. It has a large dance studio, provides dance courses for children and parents, and hosts social and dance art exchange events for SDM students from time to time. It is the first dance teaching building in Hong Kong. The ballet room also covers an area of about 1,400 square feet. The interior is equipped with high-quality elastic wooden floors, which can effectively reduce the shock on the legs. Coupled with full-body wall mirrors, armrests, and audio-visual equipment, it helps improve the quality of learning. There are also separate changing rooms and toilets in the school, which are fully equipped. All of our branch schools are approved examination venues by the Hong Kong Assessment Authority, so students can test in a familiar environment, greatly improving their chances of winning the exam. SDM has a team of professional mentors. In addition to receiving professional certificates and acting training, most of them have graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and obtained the British Ballet Teacher Certificate (R.A.D.) and the Australian Federation Dance Teachers Association Jazz and Ballet Teacher Certificate (C.S.T.D.) She has many years of choreography and teaching experience, and has also taken part in child psychology and early childhood education courses, so she can better understand the needs of children and teach according to their abilities.
