Aoba-BBT <2464> announced on the 20th that its subsidiary Aoba International Educational Systems (AIES) will merge with its subsidiary Musashi International Education (MIST) in a merger format where AIES will be the surviving company and MIST will be dissolved, scheduled for March 1, 2025. Revenue increased by 0.1% year-on-year to 3.779 billion yen, operating profit decreased by 13.7% to 0.191 billion yen, ordinary profit decreased by 13.2% to 0.19 billion yen, and interim net profit attributable to the parent company's shareholders decreased by 14.5% to 0.098 billion yen. Revenue from mainland education business decreased by 7.3% year-on-year to 1.702 billion yen, with a segment loss of 0.009 billion yen (same as the previous year).
