The Indonesian rupiah fell by 0.7% against the US dollar to 16,565.0, reaching the lowest level since March 23, 2020.

Hong Kong stock pharmaceutical shares fell during trading, with AIM Vaccine (06660.HK) down nearly 11%, Tiansheng Boyao (02137.HK) down over 9.5%, Lepu Biology (02157.HK), Siasun Robot&Automation (02252.HK), and Kedi (02487.HK) all down over 8%, WuXi AppTec (02126.HK) and Derivative Pharmaceuticals (06996.HK) both down over 5%.

Bitcoin has fallen below $81,000 per coin, reaching a low not seen since November of last year, with a 4.38% drop on the day.
