The company was founded on December 28, 2010, and was co-sponsored by Guangzhou Port Group, SDIC Transportation Holdings, and Guangzhou Development; in May 2014, the company introduced COSCO Group and Shanghai Zhonghai Terminal as strategic investors. On March 29, 2017, the company's shares were successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company officially entered the A-share main board market, opening a new page in the development of Guangzhou Port. In 2022, the company completed the non-public offering of A-shares, with an issuance scale of nearly 4 billion yuan. After the issuance, Guangzhou Port Group held 75.59% of the company's shares. The company mainly operates terminals. Its main business includes handling and storage of goods such as containers, coal, food, steel, commercial vehicles, metal ores, oil, etc., and provides comprehensive services such as logistics, trade, tugboats, and warehousing. Corporate honors: Guangdong May 1st Labor Award, “Gold Quality” corporate governance award for listed companies, national 5A integrated service logistics enterprise, etc. During the reporting period, the company won the National May Day Labor Award, was selected for the “China Port High Quality Development Report (2023)”, and the prepared social responsibility report was selected as the “Guangzhou State-owned State-owned State-owned Enterprise Excellent ESG Report Case”. By the end of December 2023, the company had 207 container routes, including 162 foreign trade routes and 156 foreign trade routes in the Nansha port area; operated 73 “shuttle bus” routes, forming a service network with the Nansha port area as a distribution center and radiating to the Pearl River Delta and Pan-Pearl River Delta regions; and opened 37 sea-rail intermodal trains to connect inland hinterland such as Xiang, Gan, E, Yun, Gui, and Sichuan. At present, Guangzhou Port has become an important hub in the country's integrated transportation system and the main transit port for energy materials and raw materials in Guangdong Province. It is also an international container trunk port, the largest domestic container port, and a core hub port for African routes.
