The company's predecessor was the Battery Materials Division under Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd., and was established on December 20, 2016; in April 2020, the company completed the shareholding system reform and became Xiamen Xia Tungsten New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. In August 2021, Xiamen Tungsten Xinneng fully seized the opportunity of a spin-off listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board and officially listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, becoming the fifth company in China and the first company to successfully list A in Fujian Province.
