Xiaomi secures a Wuhan plot for 65.06 million yuan; the first Asia Vets smart appliance factory officially begins construction.
According to the report by "Perspective", Xiaomi Asia Vets (Wuhan) successfully acquired plot DK (2024-06) No. 02 located north of Wuhan Technology Road, east of Wangzhuang Road, and south of Liaojiawan Street for 65.06 million yuan (RMB) (same below), marking the further expansion of Xiaomi's innovative smart home appliance production base project in Wuhan. Previously, on September 30, Xiaomi Asia Vets (Wuhan) purchased the adjacent industrial land DK (2024-06) No. 01 for approximately 0.2 billion yuan, covering an area of 0.367 million square meters. According to the land use announcement, Xiaomi plans to achieve an annual production of about 6 million air conditioners at this base, reaching a peak output.
