Our mission is to make the complex world simpler through technology. We were founded in 2000 as a search engine platform, and pioneered the use of artificial intelligence in 2010 to make content discovery on the internet easier. We are also using our core AI technology engine “Baidu Brain” to develop new artificial intelligence businesses. Today, Baidu is a leading artificial intelligence company with a strong Internet foundation. We are one of the few companies in the world to provide a complete artificial intelligence stack, including infrastructure comprised of core AI features such as artificial intelligence chips, deep learning frameworks, natural language processing, knowledge graphs, speech recognition, computer vision, and augmented reality, as well as an open artificial intelligence platform that promotes widespread application and use. We've incorporated leading-edge artificial intelligence capabilities into our products and services and innovative use cases. Over the past two decades, we have built a diverse portfolio of products and services, and have huge market opportunities. Our portfolio of products and services is accessed by over 1 billion devices each month, and our business spans an ecosystem of hundreds of millions of users, millions of developers, and hundreds of thousands of businesses. In December 2020, our flagship product, Baidu App, was the number one search and feed app in China, with monthly active users reaching 0.544 billion. We use a strong technical foundation to support an open platform business model, which not only attracts more participants to our ecosystem, but also adds richness and vitality to our ecosystem, enhancing the long-term prospects and vitality of our overall business. Baidu consists of two major segments: 1) Baidu's core, which accounts for more than 70% of our revenue in the past three years; 2) iQiyi, which accounts for more than 70% of our remaining revenue. Baidu's core is driven by artificial intelligence. It mainly provides online marketing services and non-marketing value-added services, as well as products and services from new AI initiatives. Together, these provide us with three growth engines: Mobile ecosystem: A combination of more than a dozen apps, including Baidu App, Haokan, and Baidu Post, which provides an open platform that aggregates a wide range of third-party long-tail content and services through our artificial intelligence building blocks, and helps communities connect and share knowledge and information. AI Cloud: A complete set of cloud services and solutions, including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS, and unique through our AI solutions. Intelligent Driving and Other Growth Plans (OGI): Our growth plans include smart driving (autonomous driving services, including high-precision maps, autonomous valet parking and autonomous navigation pilots, smart electric vehicles, and autonomous taxi fleets), and small smart devices driven by the development of Dueros smart assistants and AI chips. Baidu was listed on the NASDAQ National Market (later renamed NASDAQ Global Market) in August 2005, and was dual listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (SEHK) in March 2021.
