On the 11th, the Nikkei average fell by 235.16 yen to 36,793.11 yen, a decline from the previous day. The TOPIX (Tokyo Stock Price Index) fell 30.04 points to 2,670.72 points, marking a three-day losing streak. On the 10th local time, U.S. stocks sharply declined after President Trump made remarks about the economy indicating that it was in a "transition phase", which could be interpreted as a concession towards recession.
