Data released on Tuesday showed that open interest in two-year note futures contracts rose for the fourth consecutive trading day. This indicates traders are building put positions after the election and before the release of October inflation data on Wednesday. As short bets expand, US bonds are being sold off, with yields rising more than 10 basis points across the board on Tuesday. An indicator of bond roi is only 1.4% away from erasing this year's gains.
