The institutions will continue to actively supervise Boeing after the flight emergency in January. FAA stated that the new review will investigate issues such as risk assessment quality, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory requirements, and is expected to take three months. An FAA spokesperson said that the institution plans to conduct regular reviews of Boeing. Last week, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Transportation of the usa criticized FAA's supervision of Boeing, stating that the institution lacks an effective system for overseeing various aspects of this aircraft manufacturer.
