On May 13, Gelonghui reported that mining giant BHP Group Ltd (BHP.US) continued to rise by 1.2% before the market opened, with the stock previously surging by 5% during yesterday's trading session. In terms of news, BHP Group Ltd has signed an exploration agreement with the National Copper Corporation of Chile. This involves the Anillo mining area located in the Antofagasta region of Chile. The statement mentioned that BHP agreed to invest up to 40 million dollars for the research and exploration of Anillo's mineral potential, and will collaborate with Codelco if a favorable Business case is established and regulatory approvals are obtained.
