Cadillac, under General Motors (GM.US), is expected to see its electric vehicle sales in the USA account for one third this year.
General Motors (GM.US) luxury brand Cadillac expects that this year, 30% to 35% of its sales in the USA will come from electric vehicles, a significant increase from last year's 18%. Even though the adoption rate of the entire electric vehicle industry is lower than expected, the company continues to expand its product line. Cadillac has stated that it plans to launch five electric vehicles by the end of this year, including the recently launched Escalade IQ and Optiq entry-level crossover. Regarding the sales growth last year in the USA, the company reported an 8.8% increase, with sales of the Lyriq, which debuted at the end of 2022, more than doubling.
