Ford Motor promises to invest in building a factory in Indonesia next year.
According to Jakarta Post, Faisol Riza, Deputy Minister of Industry of Indonesia, stated on November 29 that Ford Motor has promised to achieve local factory construction and investment next year. Ford exited the Indonesia market in 2016. He expressed confidence in the prospects of Indonesia's electric vehicle industry and hopes that more locally produced electric cars can enter the market, suggesting that global auto manufacturers who previously operated here but later exited may return.
