FedEx (FDX.US) has increased the cargo shipping route from Qingdao to the USA to five flights per week.
The express transportation company FedEx (FDX.US) announced the addition of international cargo flight frequencies from Qingdao to the usa, and officially launched the Qingdao International Port Operation Center, further strengthening the company's logistics network layout in China. The related routes will depart from Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport, stop in Osaka, japan, and then head to Memphis, Tennessee in the usa. The route began trial operations with 1 flight per week starting from May this year, and after the upgrade, it will increase to operations from Monday to Friday, totaling 5 flights per week, using B777 freighters for service. FedEx stated that increasing the flight frequency will shorten the transportation time for packages and heavy cargo exported to North America for customers in Qingdao and shandong.
