Sheen Tai Holdings Expands Into Filecoin Mining With New Machinery Purchase
SHEEN TAI (01335.HK) spent nearly 14 million yuan to purchase servers for mining Filecoin.
SHEEN TAI (01335.HK) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shun Hong Limited, has entered into a sales contract with an independent third party on April 27, to purchase machinery for a total price of 13.9875 million RMB, equivalent to about 14.9777 million HKD. The purchase includes 102 sets of 4U36 storage servers, 50 sets of 2U16 computing servers, and related accessories. The storage capacity of this batch of machines is approximately 70 petabytes, which can be used for cloud computing and data storage services, as well as for mining Cryptos and decentralized storage network Filecoin. The company currently intends to utilize these machines to develop.
