CDC urges pregnant women to be vaccinated: it will not increase the risk of miscarriage, and the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a notice on Aug. 11, local time, advising pregnant women to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible, considering that pregnant women are at greater risk of developing severe symptoms or premature delivery after being infected with novel coronavirus, saying that vaccination will not increase the risk of miscarriage. According to CDC data, of the 2500 women who received the mRNA vaccine before 20 weeks of pregnancy, the abortion rate was about 13%, similar to the expected abortion rate among the general population, but as of July 31, only 23% of people in the United States had received one dose of the vaccine during pregnancy.
