nokia oyj signed a datacenter network contract with microsoft Azure.
Finnish telecom giant nokia oyj has signed a five-year agreement with microsoft's cloud computing service company Azure to provide datacenter networking for the latter. Nokia's datacenter switches will be installed at new sites and used to support microsoft's transition to 400GE connectivity in existing facilities. Overall, the agreement covers more than 30 countries, and nokia stated in a statement that this strengthens its global position. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
