The NASDAQ 100 Index initially rose by 1.5%, with component stock Grail up 20.8%, Palantir up 8.3%, AppLovin up 6.4%, NVIDIA up 5.7% in fourth place, Micron Technology and Tesla up 5%, AMD up 4%, Amgen down 1.5%, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and AstraZeneca ADR down 1.6%, and Gilead Sciences down 2.2%. The index of the Magnificent 7 in American tech stocks rose by 2.1%, and the 'Trump Tariff Losers Index' rose by 1.3%.
