According to the Zhītōng Cáijīng APP, China Ruyi (00136) rose more than 4% in early trading. As of the deadline, it rose 2.93% to HKD 2.11 with a turnover of HKD 44,029,600. In terms of news, Imax Corp recently reached an agreement with Wanda Film Holding to upgrade and add more Imax screens in the Chinese market. Rich Gelfond, CEO of the company, revealed plans to open up to 25 new Imax theaters in China within three years and renovate or refurbish 100 existing theaters in the future. Guotai Junan previously pointed out that China Ruyi has become a new controlling shareholder of Wanda Film Holding.
