The USA Treasury auctioned two-year floating rate notes (FRNS) with a discount rate of 4.260% (previously reported at 0.140% on December 24), and the bid-to-cover ratio was 3.01 (compared to 2.98 in the previous auction).

The USA Treasury auctioned 42-day Cash Money Market bills, with a winning rate of 0.098%, and on January 21 it was 4.250%.

The Europe STOXX 600 Index initially rose by 0.58%, closing at 532.75 points, setting a new closing historical high for the first time in two trading days. The Eurozone STOXX 50 Index initially rose by 0.42%, closing at 5210.02 points. The FTSE World Europe 300 Index initially rose by 0.50%, closing at 2120.14 points.
