Reuters survey: Among the 35 economists, 26 indicated that the Indonesian central bank will maintain the seven-day reverse repurchase rate at 5.75% on February 19.

The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 0.06%, and the Tokyo Stock Exchange Index rose 0.28%. Kawasaki Heavy Industries increased by more than 5%, Sony rose by more than 4%, Disco gained nearly 4%, Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries rose by more than 2%, and Fujikura and Advantest increased by more than 1%.

The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 0.06%, at 39,174 points.
