The Canadian electric Commercial Vehicle manufacturer Lion Electric has filed for bankruptcy protection in the US.
On December 19, Gelonghui reported that on December 18, local time, Canadian electric Commercial Vehicle manufacturer Lion Electric filed for creditor protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act in Quebec, after the company announced its debt default. On the same day, Lion Electric USA filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code.
