Due to the impact of winter storms, American Airlines has cancelled over 1,300 flights.
On January 6, according to data from the flight tracking website FlightAware, as of 5:13 AM Eastern Time, 1,306 flights had been canceled and 414 flights delayed due to the winter storm. Southwest Airlines canceled 264 flights, making it the airline with the most cancellations, followed by American Airlines, which canceled 176 flights. Additionally, airlines such as United Airlines and Delta Air Lines have also issued travel warnings due to the winter storm. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warned last Friday that strong winds, snowfall, and icy roads in some areas could affect the Northeast and Atlantic regions of the United States.
