CDC announced that the mcdonald's E. coli outbreak has ended.
The usa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stated on Tuesday that the deadly E. coli outbreak related to the shredded onions supplied by mcdonald's (MCD.US) has ended, more than a month after the agency began investigating the spread of the outbreak. The CDC reported that 104 people were infected in 14 states during this outbreak. It was reported that an elderly person in Colorado died as a result, and a total of 27 people were hospitalized. The agency first announced the E. coli outbreak on October 22.
