Amazon provides Microsoft 365 to employees a year later than expected.
Last year, Amazon (AMZN.US) signed an agreement with Microsoft (MSFT.US) to provide employees with the cloud-based Microsoft 365 Office tools. However, after Microsoft discovered that a hacker organization had gained access to employee email accounts, Amazon suspended the rollout of the service to employees for a year. Amazon's Chief Information Security Officer CJ Moses stated that he believes next year will be the right time to start redeployment. Amazon employees use Microsoft 365, which is cloud software that includes Word, Outlook, Windows, and other applications.
