Analyst Doug Anmuth from Morgan Stanley stated on Thursday that Netflix (NFLX.usa) will live broadcast the boxing match between internet celebrity Jake Paul and legendary boxer Mike Tyson, 57 years old, this Friday (15th) US time. He expects that this fight may break the all-time viewership record for boxing matches and boost the number of subscriptions for Netflix's ad tier. As of the end of the third quarter, Netflix had approximately 0.283 billion subscribers, and the ad tier subscriptions increased by 35% quarter-over-quarter. Doug Anmuth mentioned that he anticipates the number of subscribers for the ad tier will continue to grow.
