Major firm rating丨Goldman Sachs: Earnings forecasts for the Semiconductors Industry will turn positive in the second half of the year, with ratings of "Buy" for NVIDIA, Micron, and others.
On January 13, Gelonghui reported that Goldman Sachs pointed out that the Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment Industry provided numerous opportunities to generate excess returns last year. Companies that performed exceptionally well (especially those supporting AI Infrastructure, such as Credo Technology which rose 2.45 times, NVIDIA which rose 1.71 times, Broadcom which rose 1.08 times, Marvell Technology which rose 83%, and Arm which rose 64%) significantly outperformed stocks in areas like Microcontrollers (MCUs) and Power, such as Microchip Technology which fell 36% last year, and Qorvo which fell 38%.
Goldman Sachs has upgraded NXP Semiconductors (NXPI.US) to "Buy" and downgraded AMD (AMD.US) to "Neutral."
