On July 5th, Guolonghui reported that the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) stated that the Australian Federal Court ruled that PayPal's local subsidiary used unfair terms in general contracts with small business customers, which required small business customers to find and report billing errors within 60 days, otherwise they would not be accepted. The court ruled that this term was unfair. ASIC filed a legal lawsuit against PayPal on this issue in September last year. ASIC stated that PayPal voluntarily provided assistance during the investigation and also acknowledged that the term was unfair. On November 8th last year, PayPal voluntarily withdrew from the contract.
