On Thursday of this week, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the June CPI inflation data, and the market expects the heavy inflation indicator to further move towards the Federal Reserve's target. Wall Street expects the core CPI (excluding volatile food and energy) to remain flat year-on-year in June at 3.4%, and to rise for the second consecutive month by 0.2% month-on-month, with the smallest consecutive two-month increase since August of last year. The overall CPI is expected to decline from 3.3% in May to 3.1% year-on-year, the lowest record in five months, and to rise slightly by 0.1% month-on-month, compared to the previous value of 0%. JPMorgan traders will be working on US trades this week.
