Video game manufacturer Roblox (RBLX.US) announced on Monday that they plan to implement safety measures to prevent users under the age of 13 from directly messaging others without parental consent. Roblox reported about 89 million users last quarter, and the platform stated that it will allow parents and caregivers to remotely manage their child's Roblox account, view friends list, set spending controls, and manage screen time. The company also introduced built-in settings to limit access to public broadcasts for users under 13 only during gameplay or experiences.
