Singapore reported the highest number of new cases in a single day in about 11 months. Apart from karaoke lounges, cluster infections also broke out at wholesale fish markets and local food centers. Singapore's Ministry of Health said on Sunday that there were 88 new locally transmitted cases, 23 from entertainment venues, and 37 linked to Jurong fishing port. Seventeen cases were unrelated infections, and 4 others were inbound travelers already quarantined. The total number of new infections that day was 92. Foxconn begins talks with Wisconsin about electric car plant
Foxconn has begun talks with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to work with Fisker Inc. To build electric cars on the state's almost vacant Foxconn park, The Verge reported, citing a notice. "as part of the site selection process, Foxconn and Fisker have discussed electric vehicle manufacturing plans with the Wisconsin Economic Development Company," Foxconn said in a statement. A spokesman for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation told the The Verge that it would not comment on any possible discussions before implementing the contract.
