Tesla shareholder Richard Tornetta initiated a lawsuit in 2018 seeking to revoke the related compensation plan. Justice McCormick rejected the new compensation plan in January of this year, describing its scale as 'incomprehensible' and stating that the plan violated the fiduciary duty to investors.
