The US Department of Commerce announced that Samsung has secured up to 4.7 billion dollars in funding to develop its operations in Texas into a mature business focused on the development and production of advanced chips. Authorities indicated in another notice that up to 1.6 billion dollars will be allocated to Texas Instruments to support the construction of new facilities.
