On August 15, 2012, Blackman successfully completed the acquisition of 100% of Australia's shares in Blackman Resources Co., Ltd., and entered the Pilbara region of Western Australia, the world's largest iron ore producer, and became a leader in emerging iron ore companies in the world. Blackburn owns two major iron ore projects in Western Australia's Pilbara (Marillana) and Ophthalmia (Ophthalmia), as well as several other mining areas. Currently, Blackburn has 1.92 billion tons of Australian JORC standard iron ore resources in the Pilbara region. Among them, the Marilana iron ore project is the company's flagship project. It has a proven JORC standard iron ore resource volume of 1.63 billion tons, including 1 billion ton of hematite resource reserves. It is about 270 kilometers from Port Hedland, one of the world's largest iron ore export ports. Ophemia currently has 0.305 billion tons of controlled and inferred resources. In the future, the company's other resource projects in the Pilbara region will be explored and developed one after another, and the amount of resources is expected to increase further. The company's short-term strategy is to accelerate the development of the two hematite projects in Marilana and Ophomir, including speeding up the construction of related supporting iron ore transportation infrastructure such as railways and ports. The company's medium- to long-term strategy is to vigorously develop a diversified resource portfolio including iron ore, copper ore, and coking coal through exploration, development, mergers and acquisitions, and strive to build a world-renowned large-scale resource company.
