Yip's Chemical Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1971, formerly known as Hang Cheong Hong Kong, and became a Hong Kong listed company in 1991. The Group focuses on the production and sale of chemical products. Its core business is solvents, coatings, inks and lubricants. It is the world's largest producer of acetate solvents, the largest ink manufacturer in China and one of the leaders of domestic paint brands. The Group is headquartered in Hong Kong, China, and has a group R&D center in Zhangjiang, Shanghai. More than 10 production plants of different types are spread across the land of Shenzhou, and the product distribution network covers all major provinces and cities in China. Yip's Chemical's brands include “Bauhinia” paint, “Bauhinia” ink, “Hengchang Paint” industrial paint, “Lux” automotive lubricants, and “Bogao” special lubricants. Yip's Chemical is a component of the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) China Small Business Index.
