The Wind Power Business segment recorded a net loss due to the decline in gross margin caused by rising raw material purchase costs. Basic and diluted loss per share was 0.53 HKD.

Green Energy Technology (00979.HK) expects to record a loss attributable to the company of approximately 6.5 million to 8.5 million yuan for the six months ending December 31, 2024, compared to about 4.6 million yuan in the same period of 2023. The Board of Directors believes that the increase in losses is mainly due to the decrease in gross margin of the Wind Power business segment caused by the rising costs of raw material purchases, resulting in a net loss for that segment.
