On September 27, Green Energy GP (00979.HK) announced that in the 2024 fiscal year, the group's revenue from continuous operating business is approximately 71,000,000 Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 11.3% compared to the 2023 fiscal year. The decrease in revenue mainly comes from the wind power business segment. In the 2024 fiscal year, the company's attributable net loss is approximately 14,300,000 Hong Kong dollars (2023 fiscal year: approximately 9,000,000 Hong Kong dollars), an annual increase of 58.9%. The increase in loss is mainly due to the decrease in revenue under the weakened demand for waste cooking oil.
