We mainly design and manage tailor-made medical and/or dental benefit plans for contract clients, provide corporate medical and dental solutions to contract customers (mainly insurance companies and companies on a revenue basis), and provide different combinations of medical and/or dental services to plan members (including members and employees of contract customers) through the Medical Remittance Network, and operate medical and dental clinics to provide services to plan members and patients at their own expense (generally referring to patients visiting Medicare and/or dental clinics and self-paying patients). At the last practicable date, the Medicare Remittance Network includes: (i) Two Medicare Centres operated by the Group in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui respectively, where Medicare doctors provide a range of medical services to scheme members and patients at their own expense (please refer to the “Medical and Dental Services Provided through the Medicare Network” section below in this section for details); (ii) We operate five dental clinics in Causeway Bay, Central, Kwun Tong, Mongkok and Tsim Sha Tsui, where dentists and dental hygienists provide a range of dental services to scheme members and patients at their own expense (for details, please refer to the “Medical and dental services provided through the Medicare Network” section below in this section); (iii) 391 contact physicians work at 361 contact clinics located in various districts of Hong Kong. These clinics are not operated by the Group, but it has been agreed that contact doctors will provide various medical services to scheme members (for details, please refer to the “Medical and Dental Services Provided through the Medical Exchange Network” section below in this section) and charge us fees for services provided to plan members; and (iv) 62 professionals work with 42 ancillary service providers located in various districts of Hong Kong. These organizations are not operated by the Group, but have agreed to contact physicians to provide various ancillary services to scheme members (for details, please refer to the “Medical and Dental Services Provided through the Medical Exchange Network” section below in this section) and charge us fees for services provided to plan members. We have been operating in Hong Kong for over 20 years. At the last practical date, we had a total of 10 registered dentists and 3 dental hygienists providing dental services at 5 dental clinics, and 3 medical exchange doctors providing medical services at 2 medical exchange centers.
