Nucor is expected to report fourth-quarter profits lower than Wall Street's expectations.
Gelonghui, December 17 | United States Steel manufacturer Nucor Corporation expects that fourth-quarter profits will fall short of Wall Street expectations, stating that the decline in its steel mill sector's revenues is due to a reduction in output and a decrease in average sales prices. The company expects fourth-quarter diluted earnings per share to be between $0.55 and $0.65, below the Analyst's expectation of $0.90. However, the company anticipates that its raw materials sector's earnings will increase year-on-year in the fourth quarter.
