The company stated that the decision to postpone the launch of the all-electric model will help prioritize a vehicle named Ramcharger, which combines a gasoline engine with electric vehicle technology. Stellantis stated that the Ramcharger will open for customer orders in the first half of 2025, followed by the launch of the Ram 1500 REV in 2026.
